AND THE BRASS is a Spanish brass ensemble whose artistic concept combines music, humour, energy and stage performance, bringing brass instruments closer to audiences through an engaging and original approach.
Their performances feature a wide and varied repertoire, combining high-level musical interpretation with entertainment, audience interaction and a strong stage presence.
An important part of the ensemble’s work is dedicated to music education and the promotion of brass instruments, particularly through educational concerts and projects aimed at young musicians. The group also organises the And The Brass Festival, first held in 2018, featuring masterclasses, chamber music, concerts and workshops focused on creating musical and comedy-based performances.
And The Brass is currently formed by:
Andrés Pacheco – Trombone
Paco Sevillá – Trombone
Javier Sáez – Trombone & Euphonium
Jaime Paniagua – Bass Trombone
Víctor Cardeñosa – Euphonium & Trombone
Jonatan Sevilla – Tuba
Andrés Alonso – Tuba
Within their low brass section, the musicians perform on Wessex instruments, including the EP110 Euphonium, TC590 CC Tuba and TF458 F Tuba.
With their combination of artistic experience, commitment to music education and an original approach to brass performance, And The Brass has developed a distinctive project focused on both performance and the promotion of brass music.
