Based on the classic Vienna F tubas as would have been used to play Bruckner, Mahler and Strauss in the first half of the 20th century, this tuba has a distinctive and beautiful tone like no other tubas available today, while we have made with modern 6-valve F tuba fingering and intonation as you would expect from a modern tuba. To fine tune tuning, the tuba is also equipped with two triggers worked by the thumb and left hand respectively for 1st and 2nd valve slides.
Although a small tuba in size, the TF425HP can produce an amazingly large tone with deep low register and would be quite suitable to play in a modern orchestra when F tuba is desired.

You can return any item bought from Wessex Tubas within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund, minus shipping costs. However, please contact us before returning your item so we can provide you with return labels and a collection booking with our dedicated courier to ensure the safe return of your item/s. When returning the item, it must be in its original packaging and in ’as received’ condition. Please note that shipping charges apply to refund upon return of your item and any damage will also result in reduced refund.
