PhD Harold Hernández Lozano PhD “Cum Laude” in Heritage by UCO, UJA, UH and UEX. Artist Mercer & Barker Mouthpieces. Wessex Tubas Ambassador Graduate in Tuba (RCSMM), Lyrical Singing (CPMCo) and Master in Heritage Management and in Supervision, Evaluation and Direction of Educational Centres and Programs (UCO).
He has carried out his professional instrumental and teaching career in Latin American and European countries. He is a member of ITEA, UNEAC and AETYB. He has studies of “Active Musical Pedagogy” and “Cultural Management: Music, Theater and Dance”.
Writer of articles on the tuba and other subjects related to teaching in specialised and musicological magazines in Europe and the U.S., in addition to his multilingual didactic and research blog inBBflat. Author of Tubas y yo vengo, (2021). Recognized as the first book written about the tuba in Spanish.
He has participated in all the AETYB International Festivals and invited to the ITEC events in the editions of 1997, 1999, 2012, 2014, 2019 and 2023. Professor of Tuba and Chamber Music in several conservatories of Andalusia (Spain), Currently he is tuba player of the OCC of Cordoba, Director of the Online University Master in Instrumental Pedagogy of the UAX (Spain), Tutor of Doctoral Thesis at the University of the Arts in Havana (Cuba) and professor of the Master of Music.
