Die Elgar Eb-Tuba ist eine wirklich einzigartige Tuba, die von keinem anderen Hersteller erhältlich ist. Sie basiert auf den Kavallerietuben, die im frühen 20. Jahrhundert bei britischen Militärkapellen beliebt waren – und vereint das Beste aus britischem und amerikanischem Tubadesign.
Die Tuba ist eine voll kompensierte Tuba, also mit nur 4 Ventilen vollständig chromatisch gestimmt – während sie gleichzeitig viel bequemer positionierte Frontventile hat wie die meisten amerikanischen Tuben – das 4. Ventil ist jedoch so positioniert, dass es links bedient werden kann, was viel mehr Bewegungsfreiheit im tiefen Register bietet. Ein zusätzlicher Vorteil dieser Ventilanordnung ist, dass es weniger Biegungen im Rohr gibt, wodurch sie viel offener blasen kann als Tuben mit kompensierter Top-Action, insbesondere im tiefen Register. Diese Tuba muss wirklich gespielt werden, um zu verstehen, wie viel besser sie sich spielen lässt und wie viel angenehmer sie zu halten ist.

You can return any item bought from Wessex Tubas within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund, minus shipping costs. However, please contact us before returning your item so we can provide you with return labels and a collection booking with our dedicated courier to ensure the safe return of your item/s. When returning the item, it must be in its original packaging and in ’as received’ condition. Please note that shipping charges apply to refund upon return of your item and any damage will also result in reduced refund.
